10.1 In-App Deletion

You can delete your account directly within the Merit Project app by navigating to the Profile tab, looking under the Other section, and tapping the "Delete account" button.

10.2 Email Deletion Request

If you no longer have the app installed, you can request account deletion by sending an email to info@meritproject.lk with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please send the email from the address associated with your Merit Project account so we can verify your identity.

10.3 Data Retention Upon Deletion

Upon using the in-app deletion button or upon the processing of your email request, all of your user records will be instantly deleted. This includes your profile information, enrolled subjects, and progress data. We may only retain certain anonymized, aggregated data (such as overall app usage statistics) that cannot be linked back to you.
